Augmentative Communication Services

UCP/NYC's Augmentative Communication Center is centrally located in Manhattan and features state-of-the art equipment and services for individuals who have speech and language impairments or who are non-speaking. The Center serves both children and adults from throughout the metropolitan area. Services include:

  • evaluation and acquisition of augmentative communication devices, systems and access switches
  • training of users and their caregivers/families
  • equipment maintenance

Fees
Fees are moderate and reimbursable through Medicare, Medicaid or private health insurance. Clinic staff will assist in completing all necessary forms.

Location/Scheduling an Appointment
UCP/NYC's Augmentative Communication Center serves the entire metropolitan New York City area and is centrally located in Manhattan at 120 East 23rd Street, between Park Avenue South and Lexington Avenue. It is easily accessible by public transportation. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and evenings by special appointment. To schedule an appointment, call:
