Program Description
Family Reimbursement is a program designed to
assist families with a variety of critical needs
-- including items or services not funded through
other sources -- that can make all the difference
in maintaining a family member with developmental
disabilities in the home. A committee comprised
of other parents with disabled children reviews
applications and makes recommendations about
reimbursement subsidies up to $500 per family.
UCP/NYC administers the program and implements
the committee's recommendations.
