September 4, 2001

(New York, NY) -On Tuesday, October 30, 2001, United Cerebral Palsy of New York City will hold its 38th Annual Fall House Tour. This self-guided tour of six residences on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

You will have a unique opportunity to view homes created by top designers in New York City. Some of the residences this tour will include: a gentleman's apartment designed by Diane Paparo; the home of Judith Ripka, noted jewelry designer with interiors by Myles Scott Harlan; and an east sixties' apartment designed by Mario Buatta. Designers will be on hand to discuss their creations.

A new attraction this year is the opportunity to purchase fine bed and bath linen directly from designer Margaret Ann Cittadini, as well as luxury accessories and blouses by noted designer Mary Ann Restivo. These items will be shown at 171 East 62nd Street from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds for the sale will be donated to UCP/NYC.

Sponsors for this year's tour are the New York Design Center and Scalamandre. Tickets for the tour are $85 per person, and are only available in advance. Raffle tickets will also be sold. For more information, please contact Carole Chanler, Special Events Manager, at 212-683-6700 ext. 396.
