KEY MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner FT or PT   175 Lawrence Ave, Brooklyn
General Summary of Job Duties:
Provide clinical services to clients in our Brooklyn Article 28 Clinic
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (PA) and Master’s Degree (NP) and at least three years of prior exp. Current NY State professional license.

Coordinator of Residential Operations Full-time Mon-Fri 9:00 A.M. -
5:00 P.M.

General Summary of Job Duties:
Provides supervision, guidance and direction to management in a number of our residential sites that house and provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a key and highly visible management position.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. At least five years of similar management experience in an OMRDD environment.

Director Day Habilitation Full-time Mon-Fri 9:00 A.M. -
5:00 P.M.

General Summary of Job Duties:
Directs staff and oversees care and services provided to clients in one of our Day Habilitation programs.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and at least five years of related experience in the developmental disabilities field.

Residential Program Director Full-time Mon-Fri Hours Vary Manhattan & Bronx
General Summary of Job Duties:
Provides oversight, staff education and supervision, and coordination of care in residential programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a comparable position working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.

*General Summary of Job Duties:
Performs direct care duties for individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program or one of our residences. Residential programs are a 24 hour, 7 days a week operation and so various shifts are available.
*Job Requirements:
These three positions require a High School Diploma or equivalent and except for the Program Assistant, a valid NY State Driver's License.

BENEFITS

UCP/NYC offers an extremely competitive and unique benefits package. Salaried employees who regularly work 21 or more hours per week are eligible for the benefits listed below. Eligibility begins on the 1st of the month following three months of continuous employment:

  • Medical Coverage (Single, Employee & One or Family coverage). Employee paycheck contributions are very low and there are three
    Point of Service plans to select from. No referral to see a Specialist.
  • Prescription drugs- depending on medical plan selected:
    Generic-$10
    Brand- $20 or $25
    Non-Brand- $30, $40 or $50
  • Dental Plan - Very competitive plan and no charge for in network preventive care. There is a maximum benefit of $1,250 per person per calendar year. Employees pay $3.50 biweekly for single coverage and $6.00 biweekly for family coverage.
  • *Life Insurance - 1 ½ times your annual salary
  • *Accidental Death and Dismemberment
  • Medical Opt-Out Program - Those employees with alternative medical coverage can elect to receive extra money in their paycheck instead of taking the agency's medical coverage. We pay $1,500 (single), $2,250 (employee and one), and $3,000 (family) over 26 biweekly paychecks.
  • Pension Plan - agency funded 401(K) Plan. 5% of your annual gross wages for plan year (7/1-6/30). 1 year waiting period for eligibility.
  • 403(b) Plan- Employees can contribute to this plan that is administered by Mutual of America and it offers 18 different investment choices
  • Tuition Assistance - Up to $600 a semester for employees pursuing an Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degree that is job related or represents a promotional opportunity within the agency.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts - For medical and child care reimbursement

* For salaried employees who regularly work 30 or more hours per week.
