We are seeking experienced RN's and LPN's who are looking to make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibility:

Will be responsible for providing nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities who participate in our programs and/or live in our residences.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing Degree and related experience with individuals with developmentally disabilities. Must have a current NY State RN or LPN License

Psychiatrist

Nutrionist

Hours: Monday-Friday

Location: To work at various Residential sites

Responsibility:

Planning and providing nutritional assessment, counseling and appropriate meals or nourishment to meet the dietary needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and registered or eligible for registration by the American Dietetic Association.
  • Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Speech Therapists

Hours: Full and Part Time

Location: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island in a variety of settings, including children's educational, adult day, residential and clinic programs.

Responsibilities:

Provide speech therapy and therapeutic feeding services for individuals with multiple disabilities. Work with education and clinical staff to assess the current and long-term communication needs of individuals with speech impairments. Develop communication systems and program augmentative communication devices for non-verbal individuals.

Qualifications:

  • M. A. and eligibility for NYS licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide physical therapy services to children and adults with multiple disabilities, including gross and fine motor activities, mobilitiy training, and travel training. Conduct evaluations and record progress notes. Assist in the evaluation of consumers for adaptive seating and positioning equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide nursing services to children and adults with multiple disabilities. Utilize professional skills to develop treatment plans based upon nursing assessments of individuals in clinical, educational, adult day and residential program environments. Train and supervise direct care staff in the administration of medication in residential and adult day programs.

    Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse license. One year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
